This is my version of Scrooge’s vision of Jacob Marley on the knocker of his door. Right out of Charles Dicken’s classic story, Christmas Carol, Marley will welcome your guests and remind of the meaning of Christmas Celebrations and to share what we have with those in need.

I’ve been something of a Scrooge myself, the last few holiday seasons and in effort to raise my spirits and a little spending money, I began making Marley faces and putting them on hand painted Xmas Plaques for sale at Steampunk conventions. One day I was at the hardware store buying craft supplies and I saw a couple of doorknockers in the sale bin. I grabbed them and starting working on them as soon as I got home. The first try was pretty rough, sculpt and painting results were not that good, but the second one was exactly what I was going for. Instead of painting it, I used flesh colored plastic clay to make the face and it really made the piece.

This Sculpture will attach to your front door, or rest on your mantle or wall and give you years of pleasure. Made of Plastic Clay on a brass doorknocker.
