This is a reference to the “Coneheads” of South America (and other locales) that were reputed to have large elongated skulls which enabled them to access additional powers of the brain, including Telepathy and Clairvoyance. The Gold represents the ancient empires that used the metal for almost everything, especially for their religious articles, even, as legend has it,to build an entire garden of corn and vegetables using golden replicas of the plants and gold nuggets for the soil of the garden. The Inca were the rulers of the Andes and their fabulous treasures were only partly seized by the gold hungry Spaniards. A great portion of the royal treasure was diverted into the jungle and then into hidden tunnels and storerooms and lost to all knowledge.
The Golden Skull knows the secret of the lost places and if you concentrate hard enough, he may share this knowledge with you, but beware, for they who seek are sometimes cursed to find that which they desire. Decide for the greater good or risk death and destruction in the lost temple of The Golden Skull.
