Garg the Gargoyle

gargGarg the Gargoyle was a custom order to decorate the Halloween headstone he sits upon. I based it off the gargoyles on the Notre Dame cathedral. The severed head was my idea.

Garg was also created from a polymer clay and wire armature. He is painted in an acrylic paint with gold highlights. Garg’s first form did not please me so I ripped him in half and started over from the pieces of his body that I found worthy. His former body became the basis for Yargoth. He balances perfectly on top of the headstone, a completely separate piece provided by my client.

Garg was also featured together in a interview on the LA Horror website.
