From the Artist:

In 9th grade I had a great group of Teachers at Onteora High School, that gave me a broad range of exposure to Artists and Techniques. Our proximity to New York City allowed them to take the entire art department on field trips to galleries and museums where I saw masterpieces and artists from every style and period. I knew in grade school that I wanted to be an Artist and the exposure to such great Art, crystalized it for me.

I like a dark sense of humour in my Art, since I was born on E.A. Poe’s birthday and am both naturally inclined that way and the innocent victim of my older Brother’s advanced tastes in Movies, Art, History, and Literature, which made it impossible to look at the world with the eyes of a child. I try to use as many of my skills as possible rather than just work mostly in a couple of areas and I focus on using the materials  and letting them tell me what the end result will be.
